 Dr. Robinson is a published author who specializes in church and community engagement. His thesis "Prophetic Preaching to Inspire Embodied Discipleship Beyond the Walls of the Building" is a roadmap for reimagining and regaining the connection between the church and community that once exemplified the Black faith tradition.  

For over a decade Dr. Robinson has served in various capacities on several boards including past Chair of the Building Up our Youth Foundation (www.buoyfoundation.org) and current Vice Chair of Oikos Institute (https://www.oikosinstitute.org) Board of Directors.  Dr. Robinson also serves as a leadership and strategy consultant for CommissionEd (https://commission-ed.org/)
